The FOSTER project is transforming the future of science and education in Kenya and Tanzania through digital inclusion, collaborative research, and responsible innovation.
VU Amsterdam promotes open science globally and integrates its values into practice. From 16-20 June 2025, they will be hosting Open Science Week with delegates from VU (staff and students), and partners from Asia, Africa, and Europe all convening to share experiences, inspiration, and examples of open science from the Netherlands and beyond!
As part of its commitment to advancing open, inclusive, and digitally empowered research, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), a key European partner in the FOSTER project, will host the Open Science Week 2025 from June 16–20. This dynamic event will bring together researchers, educators, and innovators to explore the latest practices in open science, data sharing, citizen science, and responsible research and innovation.
The workshop aligns with FOSTER’s mission to foster digital transformation in science and education across Kenya and Tanzania. Participants will gain valuable insights into building transparent, collaborative, and impactful research ecosystems.
